September was a busy month for as as we prepared for our "Huge Moving Sale", packed up what remained for Goodwill, packed up the boxes of items we moved into storage and said See Ya Laters to all our North Carolina family and friends. There was little time to rest with finishing up our jobs and all of the preparation. It seemed as if there would not be enough time knowing we had a deadline for closing on the house and leaving. Of course, it all worked out.
We narrowed down as much as we could of our household/kitchen items, clothing, etc. knowing that we will be living basically in a 400' square area. I always have wanted to simplify my life! Currently those boxes, along with a few items that we can't part with, are in a storage area in NC. We thought we could get away with a 5x7 space. Not so. We also have all of Dale's artwork that is definitely in the Keepers category. So the end of the storage story is we had to add another space. We have a 5x5, also.
We are currently living in St. Petersburg with my parents for a short time until the RV arrives. Our home should arrive sometime in the first half of November.
So the hurrying part is over for now and we're on to the waiting part. This stay with family is a good thing and much needed.
And the weather is great!
